 Global Kids Costa Rica To cancel a course, the responsible party must make the cancellation request to our administrative office by telephone or e-mail before completing the lessons paid for in the most recent invoice. Otherwise, the account will be considered active and will continue to be billed each month. In the event that there are difficulties in making payment, the case will be transferred to our legal advisors.
- No refunds will be made for no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled lesson in the target language.
- A full credit will be given if the cancellation is made more than 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled lesson in the target language so long as it is a private class, or a group class where the entire group has agreed to cancel the lesson. A single participant may not cancel a scheduled group lesson, unless the whole group has agreed to cancel it.
- A group class participant who has missed a lesson may make up the lesson individually or in a group, and must pay an additional sum of $14 or $10, respectively.
- No credit will be given to individuals or groups under any circumstances for target language lessons on Saturdays.
- A maximum of two lesson cancellations per group or per person will be accepted per month.
- Classes will be billed at the beginning of the month and should be paid within the first ten days of that same month. Invoices unpaid after 30 days will incur late charges of 2% monthly.
- Credit notes are valid for one month and may only be used in the month immediately following the issue date.
- For businesses that make advance payments for periods greater than one month, the students must use the credited amount in the agreed upon time period.
